Omar Rodriguez-Lopez - The Apocalypse Inside of an Orange (2007)

This album is very focused on jazz and improvisation that is what becomes important. In addition, the bases are repetitive which makes focusing even more on improvisation.

"Melting Chariots" With a funk beat the record. The issue has distinctive sax and background you can hear a wah wah guitar, while Omar improvised.

"Knee Deep In The Loving Hush Of Heresy" Start with a whole mess of sound, then it becomes heavy and slow, as a matter fatasmal. So the subject alternates between these two parties. Then in the middle of the track sounds like a Latin beat and begins what looks like a keyboard solo. Finally closed with heavy chords and accelerated.

"Jacob Van Lennepkade II" Theme 18 minutes. This comprises the initial issue under "Viscera Eyes", I guess the idea was to expand with jamming.

"Fuerza de Liberacion" After the noises you hear a Latin percussion, while a voice says in English language on the release. Omar then improvised a strange base, including jazz and mantra.

"Spared From The Insult List" half Latino theme which serves to make the guitar exploration.

"Baby Fat" Small matter of free jazz, with an air space. Near the end acquires a strong Latin beat.

"The Apocalypse Inside Of An Orange" The title track the album is more atmospheric and experimental subject. It has no rhythm, the melodies are unclear, many Eastern and psychedelic influences.

"Coma Pony" is the most melodic track on the disc, has a tidy jamming.
