Sigur Ros - Agaetis Byrjun (1999)
Agaetis Byrjum is the second album by Sigur Rós. The whole album is a ball emotions, full of space sounds, symphonic and sometimes psychedelic. His music is classified as "dreamy", "relaxing" everything depends on the mood, it can sometimes be a total nuisance to some. For many this is their best album or at least the first great album they released. It is a concept album which is poured the whole philosophy of Sigur Rós, all its stylistic innovations and other developments as to invent their own language (Vonlenska) or play their instruments stringed electric violin with a bow. The concept is about unrequited love from the beginning until his death, according to vocalist Jonsi "begins with the birth of a child." The disc had the Iceland Symphony Orchestra. From the start we emvuelven in a cloud of magical sounds that turn into "Svefn-G-Englar," symphonic "Starálfur" moving on "Flugufrelsarinn" psychedelic in "Ny Batteri" in the mood to experiment with the blues in "Hamastan hjärta (bamm bamm bamm)" sounds more epic "Vidar vel tl Loftarasa" something pop "Olsen Olsen," something more acoustic "Ágætis Byrjun" and more experimental "Avalon." Furthermore, the CD has some tricks, one of them is that you accelerate the reproduction of "Avalon" quad-speed, you're listening to a version instrumental de "Sta
Ralf r".
