What Does Meningitis Headache Feel Like

Sigur Ros - Takk ... (2005)

Takk ... is the fourth album by this great band. In this album these guys find a way to Quajar the sound of previous albums. Vocalist Jonsi described it as "a little happier than" () "with more hope. The lyrics speak of small adventures, maybe children's stories. They are simple and naive, and always have a hero. For example, the Glósóli wake up and everything is dark, can not see the light. He thinks that the sun is gone and begins a journey to search, find the final "

Hoppípolla: Beautiful issue. Starts with a piano arpeggio and then go the whole band. Jónsi (voalista) with her delicate voice in his lyrics express a childlike joy, the joy of a child jumping in puddles (Hoppípolla = jumping through puddles.) Then the band gets stronger while singing in falsetto Jónsi hopelandic (language invented by the band) with typical "Yu Shai ...".

Sæglópur: has a more mysterious and dark. Start with some gentle piano chords and arrangements that seem to enter the vibraphone while Jónsi falsetto. Then enter all the band and its well-known Jonsi plays guitar sound (which is played with a bow violin) and the issue becomes more space.

Heysatan: All quiet in this topic makes you fly when you close your eyes and dream that you have no obligations or liabilities, or debts. It's so slow, no layers of effects, only organic sounds more orchestrated keyboard and the beautiful voices. Thus ends a memorable album for a moment at least we made it back to childhood.
